Over the last decade, since the work of a shadowy government program called the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program was made public in 2017, there has been growing public pressure on the US government to release its files related to aliens. At the same time, UFOs have been rebranded as Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon, or UAP.
The Trump administration on Friday announced the release of declassified government files on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, hailing it as an effort to bring “unprecedented transparency” to the matter.
The US government is all set to release the first cache of UFO (Unidentified Flying Objects) files in the latest disclosure. The files will not contain the 46 documents and videos demanded by Congress from the Department of War. Meanwhile, there is a lot of chatter on the nature of disclosure and what material to expect.
